KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: A Kuwaiti man in his 70s died during the popular heritage festival in Salmi, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The victim was a member of a committee. Initial reports show the man died a natural death. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti man in his 20s perished in a traffic accident on the King Fahad Expressway near Um Al-Hayman, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. A police source said the victim had lost control over his vehicle, swerving and crashed into a concrete barricade. He died on the spot. Coal kills Indian: A 25-year-old Indian driver working for a Kuwaiti family died after inhaling carbon dioxide emanating from burning charcoal, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The victim had allegedly burned charcoal in his room to protect himself from the cold. The incident happened in the outhouse of his sponsor’s home in Mishref.
