Saturday 01 February 2014Two Sunni prisoners are under extra pressure in Ghezel Hesar prison
HRANA News Agency – Seyed Hadi Hossaini and Seddigh Mohammadi, the Sunni prisoners of Ghezel Hesar prison are under the extra pressure by the authorities. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after the transfer of Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Moulayi, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani to Rajaei Shahr prison following their 75 days hunger strike, two other prisoners with the name of Seddigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hossaini, are still kept in Ghezelhesar and authorities are putting extra pressure on them. An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter: “Seddigh Mohammadi and Hadi Hossaini are insulted after the transfer of four Sunni prisoners and some amenities which was provided before, are now limited. Even the cell that was given to Sunni prisoner is been taken and the food ration is reduced.” These two prisoners were arrested in June 2009, and in an odd action, their cases were sent from Sanandaj to Branch 28 of Tehran revolutionary court where they have been sentenced to death on. According to the statements of their attorneys their sentences are rejected by the Supreme Court and they will be retried. These two prisoners are suffering from severe mental illnesses and it is been said that the reason for rejection of their sentences by the Supreme Court was that. Supporting the Salafi groups is what these prisoners are charge for however there is not any strong evidence to prove this charge. These prisoners are confiscated from having selective attorney. |
