3 Kurdish political prisoners are exiled to Uremia Central Prison

HRANA News Agency – Farugh Samani, Alireza Rasouli and Khezr Rasoul Morovvat, the 3 political prisoners in Mahabad Prison, has been exiled to Uremia Central Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Farugh Samani is a musician from Mahabad and had been arrested last year and sentenced to 5 years in prison by the revolutionary court.

His brother Farzad Samani was arrested as well and sentenced to 3 years and half imprisonment by the revolutionary court.

Khezr Rasoul Morovvat was arrested in February 2013 and sentenced to 5 years in prison by the revolutionary court.

Khezr Rasoul Morovvat is the former student activist and was arrested in July 2008. The revolutionary court of Mahabad sentenced him to 3 years and 5 years suspended imprisonment then.

Farugh Samani, Alireza Rasouli and Khezr Rasoul Morovvat have been sent to the criminals’ ward and the authorities refuse to transfer them to the political prisoners’ ward.
