Nourizad Arrested Along with Some Gonabadi Dervishes in Shiraz

Majzooban Noor - Following the trip of Mr. Mohammad Nourizad, Iranian filmmaker, writer and journalist to the city of Shiraz which had been previously announced, a group of civil rights activists, journalists and citizens including Gonabadi Dervishes appeared in Shiraz Hafezieh (Hafez Tomb in Shiraz) to meet with him today in the morning 29 Ordibehesht 1393 ( May 19, 2014) which eventually led to the arrest of Mr. Nourizad and several Dervishes.

According to Majzooban Noor reporter, Mohammad Nourizad along with Pouria Nouri (the brother of Gonabadi Dervish, Kasra Nouri who is currently spending his second year in jail in Nezam Prison) was arrested by agents near Pirnia Blvd after leaving Hafezieh. So far, there is no news about whereabouts of them.

The report also states that three other Gonabadi Dervishes named Farshad Hatami, Hashem Parhizkar and his wife after leaving Shiraz Hafezieh were detained by police motorcyclists and transferred to the morality police and released after several hours of interrogation.
In the investigations they have been questioned about the reason for their presence in Hafezieh and also their phone conversations were checked.

Majzooban Noor - Pouria Nouri (the brother of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish in Nezam Prison, Kasra Nouri) who had been arrested along with Mohammad Nourizad by security forces today in the city of Shiraz, was released. But there is still no news about whereabouts of Mohammad Nourizad.

According to Majzooban Noor reporter, Mohammad Nourizad planned to meet with mother and family of jailed lawyer Dervishes, Kasra Nouri, Farshid Yadollahi and Omid Behroozi. Mr. At the time of his arrest, Nourizad was on his way to Yadollahi's home.

Kasra Nouri, Farshid Yadollahi and Omid Behroozi are three family member of Yadollahi who are being held in custody since 3 years ago due to defence of the legal rights of Gonabadi Dervishes.
