HRANA News Agency – Said Malekpour has been transferred to the public section after being kept in section 2-A for 3 years.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Said Malekpour, the cyber activist was first sentenced to death and then life-long imprisonment. He was kept is the section 2-A which belongs to IRGC for 3 years.
The IRGC and judicial officials announced the report of blocking some websites which they named as corrupted websites in March 2009 and said that they have arrested the administrators of these websites.
Said Malekpour was arrested during that time and sentenced to death which was reduced to life-long imprisonment afterwards.
