HRANA News Agency – 6 political activists have been arrested on April 9, 2014 at their homes in Shahriar in Karaj.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hassan Ebrahimi, Mehdi Ebrahimi, Mohammadreza Zabihi, Manuchehr Yousefi, Somayye Khalili and Mahin Sayyar Sharabi have been arrested on charge of supporting “Rights and Justice Organization” which is a political organization having different interpretations of Islam.
“All of them were kept in solitary confinements of the section 8 at Rajai Shahr Prison for 120 days. They have been tortured and insulted by making them be naked. The agents have broken one of the ribs of Manuchehr Yousefi.” Said an informed source
On August 6th, the men were transferred to Central Prison of Karaj and the women were transferred to Kachui prison in the same city.
Now, Hassan Ebrahimi is in section 7, Mehdi Ebrahimi in section 9, Mohammadreza Zabihi in section 8 and Manuchehr Youseif in section 10 of Central Prison of Karaj.
They have been charged with “membership in a group in order to disturb the national security.”
