Tuesday 30 September 2014Why many in the Islamic Republic of Iran pray for war with Israel, US
"He'll also have Jesus Christ beside him during the carnage ..." In his speech before a mainly empty United Nations General Assembly, as posted by CSPAN.org on Sept, 29, 2014, the Israeli Prime Minster's entire speech before the globalist organization was marked by his referencing both "the Mahdi Army in Iraq" as well as those in the Middle East who believe that an exchange of nuclear weapons will "trigger the apocalyptic return of an Imam from the 9th century" (the 6:25 mark). While arguably the vast majority of those in the West have no idea what Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu spoke of, his speech may have usher in an era of a better Western understanding of the mindset of many in the Middle East, particularly of the Iranian mullahs and the adherents of Imam Mahdi, who supposedly was a descendant of Mohammad, the founder of Islam. According to Shi'ite branch of the Mohammedan belief system, as cited by the Reuters news agency, the "Twelfth Imam" or sometimes simply referred to as the "Imam Mahdi" mysteriously vanished from the planet "1,000 years ago and who will re-emerge at a time of war to establish global Islamic rule before the end of the world." However, the right-of-center The Daily Caller went a step further in detailing that upon the eventual return of the ninth century prophet, the Twelfth Imam will "kill all the infidels and raise the flag of Islam in all four corners of the world." Furthermore, the Imam Mahdi won't be flying solo, he'll also have Jesus Christ beside him during the carnage. More in line with Natanyahu's comments today is the 2011 report from Fox News detailing the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Grand Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei, has notified his people that he somehow managed to personally met with Imam Mahdi. He also claimed to be the personal representative of the Mahdi on earth, and further made clear that all Muslims must "obey him." Other than the continual Iranian threat to wipe Israel "off the map," Netanyahu also made a point of warning the rest of the world of the dangers of a possibly nuclear armed Iran. Many Westerners are also unaware that the Grand Ayatollah has made it clear that war with Israel and/or the United States would be a fulfillment of Shi'ite Islamic eschatology, or "End Times" theology. Not only do Iran's strongmen believe in the eventual return of Imam Mahdi, the same leaders believe if they provoke war, they can in fact accelerate his return by waging war, nuclear or otherwise. As cited above, The Daily Caller's report from earlier this year quoted another of Iran's leading clerics, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani promised that despite fulfilling the prophesy of returning, the Twelfth Imam will also personally decapitate Western leaders. "When Imam Zaman ['Mahdi,' the last Shiite Imam] comes, he will behead the Western leaders. However, [the] Imam will not harm the oppressed nations." Examiner.com |
