HRANA New Agency – Mustafa Fathizadeh, a journalist of “Peyke Shoshtar”, a news website, attended Shoshtar General Prosecutor’s Office and was tried following complaints by a member of city council.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after Mustafa Fathizadeh’s report about abusing journalists’ society by Siamak Mehdipour, an alternate member of Shoshtar city council, attended branch number 2 of General and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office with charged of libel and defamation due to Siamak Mehdipour complaints.
Indeed, he is reporter and news editor at the Peak Shoshtar. He attended the second branch of the General and Revolutionary Court describing offenses by this alternate member of Shoshtar city council to the court, dismissed charges of lies.
However, Siamak Mehdipour, alternate member of Shoshtar city council, accepted all cases that were explained by the journalist regarding the insulting journalists.
