HRANA News Agency – The two years in prison sentence of the political prisoner, Arjang Davoodi was confirmed without issuance of notification, while human rights organizations are concerned about death penalty in the other case that is still open.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arjang Davoodi, senior political prisoner who is currently kept in ward number 4 of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, noted by chance that the two years in prison sentence which was sent to branch number 36 of appeal court, is confirmed.
He has noted that the sentence of two years in prison, for insulting supreme leader is confirmed and ready to be executed, on Monday September 29 when he received a computerized status print from the prison.
Ajang Davoodi has written in a part of a letter that a copy of it has been provided for HRANA, “The sentence neither in primary stage nor on appeal, was never communicated to me. However, the sentence of primary stage was communicated to my attorney, but the appeal one is yet to be announced”.
This is while in another case in branch number one of the revolutionary court of Karaj, he has been sentenced to death on charge of enmity to God through supporting MEK. This case is going to be investigated by supreme court.
