“Erfan-e-Halgheh” followers arrested at the Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – Several followers of “Erfan-e-Halgheh” faith (Interuniversalism) who intended to attend a gathering in front of the Islamic Revolutionary Court were arrested by the security forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Wednesday 8 October, 2014 several followers of “Erfan-e-Halgheh” faith ( Interuniversalism) who intended to attend a gathering in front of the Islamic Revolutionary Court located at “Moalem” Avenue were arrested by the security forces. These citizens were arrested at early hours of the morning, before they could attend any gathering as soon as they arrived at the location.

According to the report by HRANA’s reporter, whilst several Police Van units were stationed in front of the Islamic Revolutionary Court and throughout “Moalem” Avenue, any suspicious person got arrested by the security forces as they entered the Moalem avenue. According to the received reports, arrested citizens were taken by about 6 Van Vehicles.

A well informed source told HRANA reporter: “This gathering was the continuation of the protests to Mohammad Ali Taheri‘s arrest (The founder and the central figure of Interuniversalism -“Erfan-e-Halgheh” faith”. The first gathering was formed two days ago in front of Evin Prison.”

This source continued: “There was another gathering formed yesterday with the same intentions in front of Evin Prison. Several followers who attended the gathering were arrested and released by the night time after signing an affidavit.”

There is no confirmed news about the numbers of today’s arrest and their names yet.
