HRANA News Agency – Branch 15 of Islamic Revolutionary Court by Judge “Salavati” will review the case of Saeed Shirzad.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a decision has been made to review Saeed Shirzad’s case, who has been in custody undecided for the last 5 months in Prison. The trial will take place at Islamic Revolutionary Court.
A friend of Saeed Shirzad told HRANA reporter: “The branch in which this Political Prisoner’s case will be procedure has been determined and his case has been sent to Branch 15 of Islamic Revolutionary Court ruled by Judge Salavati”
Saeed Shirzad is a Political Prisoner at Ward 8 of Evin Prison. He was arrested on 02 June, 2014, at his workplace – Tabriz Refinery- and was later transferred to Tehran.
It is important to mention that Saeed Shirzad was first arrested on 21 August, 2012, while he was helping the earthquake stricken people of “Ahar” in East Azerbaijan. He spent 19 days in custody and was released on bail afterwards.
