Raham Barakchizadeh arrested to serve his sentence

HRANA News Agency – Raham Barakchizadeh, a third year student of Physics at Shahid Beheshti University is arrested and transferred to ward 8 of Evin Prison. He was previously arrested on Ashora-2009 and has been sentenced to 7.5 years imprisonment at Islamic Revolutionary Court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Raham Barakchizadeh is sentenced to 7.5 years imprisonment on the charges of “Gathering, Collude, Acting against national security and insulting the Supreme Leader” and he has been transferred to ward 8 at Evin Prison.

Previously he was on temporarily release with a 300 million Toman Bail. He was arrested in 2011 and spent 40 days in solitary confinement at ward 209 of Evin Prison.

In 2012, Raham Barakchizadeh was sentenced to 7.5 years imprisonment by Judge “Salavati” at Branch 15 of Tehran Islamic Revolutionary Court. This verdict was approved at Branch 54 as it was.

Raham Barakchizadeh, born in 1992, is a third year student of Physics at Shahid Beheshti University.

A well informed source told HRANA reporter; “his charges were given to him due to his involvement with 2009- Ashora demonstrations.”
