Monday 24 November 2014A group of activists visited Behnam Ibrahimzadeh’s family
HRANA News Agency – A group of political and labor activists, paid a visit to Behnam Ibrahimzadeh’s family and his sick child. According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after hospitalization of Nima Ibrahimzadeh, Behnam Ibrahimzadeh’s son in Mahak hospital on November 8 a group of political activists and representative of labor unions paid a visit to his family. This visit happened while Nima was dismissed from hospital. Nima was diagnosed with hematic in 2010. In this visit, political and labor activists demanded release of Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, and announced their comprehensive support for the family of this political prisoner. Need to be mentioned, Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, labor activist, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison on charge of collusion and he is currently serving the fourth year of his sentence. He was arrested in June 2010 by security forces. After the event of black Thursday at ward 350 of Evin prison, this prisoner was kept several months in solitary confinement and by profiling of security forces, he was exiled to ward number one of Rajai Shahr prison (the ward is dedicated for dangerous prisoners). After 25 days on dry and wet hunger strike, he was transferred to political ward of Rajai Shahr prison, on September 4. |
