Majzooban - Special Assistant to the President of Iran in ethnic and religious minorities affairs mentioned,dealing with the Dervishes is an "unfortunate" and "arbitrary action" which is in contrast with "the interests of the Islamic Republic". He kept on; "these mishaps and events occurred in the past and "have not been repeated anymore". Mr.Younesi also mentioned; "this is an "arbitrary action" and "out of the will of the government and governance" of the Islamic Republic and added that the Islamic Republic "does not agree with this extremism." Mr.Younesi added: nobody has right to impose his will on law, and every one's rights are respected by law, and the citizen who is subject any sort of religion and belief, he enjoys the rights. No one is allowed to infringe other's rights and this act is known as a crime. What happened was against the interests of the Islamic Republic. He mentioned: "What occurred was in contrast with the interests of the Islamic Republic". The senior official claims about not repeating the "mishaps", while over the past year, about 50 Gonabadi Dervishes have been sentenced to prison for many years, exile and lash in connection with these events. Or also in numerous exhibitions and workshops held in different cities in the title of fight against false mysticisms, Gonabadi dervishes are introduced as a misguided group affiliated with foreigners. |
