Army official has said that reports of an Iranian national being arrested by the Nusrah Front in that country are not true.
Speaking on condition of anonymity to the Syrian Al-Waght news agency, he said that no person exists with the descriptions given about him in the reports, one of which being his membership of the Fatemiyon Brigade.
Recently, some Arabic and English-language sources claimed that Emad Shirazi Jafari had been arrested by the Nusrah Front and was exchanged for 2,200 prisoners held by the Syrian government.
