HRANA News Agency – Saeid Shirzad refused to attend court session in protest to refrainment of his lawyer from reviewing the documents.
According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Shirzad, political prisoner of Evin prison was summoned to branch number 15 of revolutionary court of Tehran with Chief Judge Salavati, on Sunday, February 15.
This political prisoner refused to attend the court session, in protest to refrainment of his lawyer from reviewing the case, after 8 months from his arrest.
Saeid Shirzad, political prisoner of ward number 8 of Evin prison was arrested on June 2, 2014 in his workplace, Tabriz refinery and since then, has been kept there.
Need to be mentioned, Saeid Shirzad who is children’s rights activist first time was arrested on August 21, 2012, when he went to Ahar for helping victims of the Azerbaijan earthquake, and released on bail after 19 days.
