HRANA News Agency – Teachers of Charmahal-Va-Bakhtiyari province protested for their union and legal rights in Shahr-e-Kord, in front of governor’s office on Friday. At the end of their protest, they met with governor general. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), teachers of Charmahal-Va-Bakhtiyari province protested for their union and legal rights in Shahr-e-Kord, in front of governor general’s office on Friday, March 13th and at the end of their protest, they met with governor general. The estimated group of hundreds of teachers asked for visiting governor general but when just deputy of governor general appeared, they refused to talk to him. In their protest, they mentioned news boycott by national TV and demanded visiting with the highest rank of government representative in province, which is governor general. They also refused to send a group of representatives, which was suggested by officials. After a while Ghasem Solaimani Dashtaki, the governor general of Charmah-Va-Bakhtiyari, accepted to talk with protestors and to hear their complaints. After governor general left the scene, teachers announced that they will continue their protests, until they find a reasonable answer regarding their union and legal rights. |
