HRANA News Agency – Younes Asakereh passed away due to severity of his injuries in Motahari hospital in Tehran on Sunday. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Younes Asakereh, Khoozestani vendor who had committed self-emollition in protest to municipality officers’ behaviorz, passed away due to severity of his injuries. A relative of Mr. Asakereh said to HRANA’s reporter, that his body is planned to be transferred to Khorramshar. This source responded to HRANA about the family’s reaction regarding the incident, “we have sued the municipality and we have some evidences as well”. Later on, a relative of Mr. Asakereh told HRANA that Mr. Asakereh had warned officials, but he was neglected and ignored. He also said, after the incident, some of the officials had visited the family of Mr. Asakereh, but after his death, all of them suddenly have disappeared. According to HRANA, physicians had diagnosed the burn percentage of Mr. Asakerh 92% and first degree, which ultimately caused his death. Younes Asaker was a 32-year-old Khorramshari civilian, married and father of two children, who committed self-emollition by gas, in protest to repetitive destruction of his kiosk by municipality officers on March 13. |
