HRANA News Agency – Ghasem Exiri Fard, University lecturer who had protested in front of Khajeh Nasir University against his disqualification because of “his womanlike voice”, was beaten by the security guards of the University. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), security guards of Khajeh Nasir University beat him with this argument that “When the University is closed he has no right to stand or walk on the pavement of Mirdamad.” Mr Exiri Fard, after announcing this event and making complaint against the security guard, has written; he will continue his sit-in. formerly, in the first day of his sit-in, he had been threatened of being hit and arrested by the plainclothes forces. Ghasem Exiri Fard, master physics lecturer, despite scientific competence (according to the testify by a group of students and lecturers from different scientific qualifications), has been deprived of teaching in this University by the Committee of General qualification of Khajeh Nasir University because of what has been expressed; “His womanlike voice and the fear of being ridicule by the students”. This PHD of Physics and University lecturer, since Monday 20thApril, has begun a sit-in demonstration with the slogan of “Right of work for all Citizens” to protest against the dismissal order of the university. |
