Demonstration in London and Iran in support of Dr Taheri.

IOPHR- Yesterday the members of international organisation to preserve human rights in Iran (IOPHR) held a demonstration in support of Dr Mohammad Ali Tahiri in Trafalgar Square, London to demand Dr Taheri’s immediate release.

During the demonstration the members of IOPHR held pictures of Dr Taheri, whilst shouting slogans against the Iranian regime’s human rights violations and in support of Dr Tarhiri and all other political prisoners in Iran.

Dr Taheri has been imprisoned for over five years by Iranian authorities and few months ago was sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary because of his views and teachings.

This demonstration was the second in as series of demonstration in support of Dr Taheri, the first of which was held in Berlin few weeks ago.

In conjunction with demonstrations in London, the brave supports of Dr Taheri also yesterday held their own demonstrations in front of Evin Prison in Tehran, Iran to demand the release of Dr Taheri.
