Iran Channel, Five Christians were convicted in Shiraz of “crimes against the order” of the Islamic Republic. They were sentenced to a year in prison.
Christian activist Jason DeMars says in a story carried by Continental News that the five, who are named, are non-denominational Christians. DeMars explains that the Iranian regime is targeting non-denominational Christians because they are more isolated than Christians organized in denominations, and are easier to pick off.
Evangelical non-denominational Christians are making headway in Iran, and their underground movement is proving impossible for the Islamic Republic to stop.
