On October 24, fuel tank drivers stopped delivering gasoline to the stations causing long jams at the gas stations in the city of Isfahan.
Ali Yazdani, head of the Association of the Isfahan Workers Trade Associations, talking with Iranian Labor News Agency (ILNA), said that the drivers stopped work and engaged in a trade protest on their low delivery fares. While some gas stations remained open, the large demand created long lines at the pumps. The drivers ended their strike after thirty eight hours.
