A Kurdish political prisoner in critical condition

HRANA News Agency – Despite the comatose of Mohammad Amin Agoushi’s wife since two months ago and her poor condition, he is still deprived of having furlough.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Amin Agushi, the 54 years old retired teacher from Piranshahr city, who is currently passing his 10 years of prison in exile, has requested prison authority for furlough many times, due to his wife’s coma after stroke, but every time it has been rejected.

One of the relative said to HRANA’s reporter: “My mother is in critical condition on coma and doctors are expecting for death, so my father wanted to be by her side.”

Need to be mentioned that Mohammad Amin Agoushi was transferred to a hospital outside of the prison due to severe drug toxicity, on February 8.

This prisoner of central prison of Zahedan, aligned with Iraj Mohammadi and Ahmad Poolad Khani, from Piranshahr have been arrested in 2007 and charged with espionage for Kurdistan regime and fight with the God and spreading corruption.

After more than 7 months in solitary confinement he was transferred to Uremia prison and after trial in military court has been sentenced to death by firing squad.

This sentence was confirmed by branch 31 of the supreme court, but when the case was sent to branch 1 of military court it was changed to 10 years in prison in exile aligned with two other prisoners.
