An Azeri political prisoner on day 8th of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, the Azeri political prisoner in central prison of Tabriz, is on day 8th of his hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, is on hunger strike in protest at: summoning and threatening the families of political prisoners, exiling the political prisoners in order to make more difficulties for their families, rejection of requests to be transferred to their own cities, inspection of their houses violently and terrorizing their families and banning them from having furlough, since Tuesday, April 15.

This imprisoned member of Yeni GAMOH, who is kept in financial criminal ward of central prison of Tabriz, is suffering from chronic stomach ache.

Need to be mentioned, Mohammad Fazli, Shahram Radmehr, Ayat Mehrali Baigloo (Youroosh), Latif Hossani and Behbood Gholizadeh, are the five member of central committee of Yeni GAMOH, were arrested by intelligence service forces, in January 2013, and sentenced to 9 years in prison.

Besides, Arash Mohammadi, the student activist imprisoned in central prison of Tabriz, who on hunger strike for 5 days in solidarity with Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, has announced that he will begin hunger strike again if the authorities do not pay attention to the requests of Ayat Mehrali Baigloo.
