Alireza Farshi released on the bail

HRANA News Agency – Alireza Farshi, the Azeri political activist, has been released from Evin prison on bail.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Alireza Farshi, the Azeri political prisoner and the expelled professor of international university of Jolfa, who was arrested and transferred to Evin prison on February 21, has been released on 100 million Toman bail, on last Tuesday, May 6.

His arrest was due to attendance in the ceremony of international mother tongue day, in Nasimshahr of Tehran.

Need to be mentioned, in this ceremony 7 other Azeri activists were arrested with the names of: Akbar Azad, Behnam Shaikhi, Hamid Manafi, Mahmood Ojaghlou, Rostam Kazempoor and Mansour Fathi. Rostam Kazempoor and Mansour Fathi, after more than one month from arrest, are released on very high bails.
