8 executions at Bandar Abbas Prison

HRANA News Agency – Seven people charged with drug smuggling and one person charged with murder were executed in Bandar Abbas.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) received from Mehr , the following were sentenced to death by Bandar Khamir city Islamic Revolutionary Court:(Y.D) charged with possession and trafficking of 3 kilos of Heroin on Bandar Abbas to Bandar Khamir route.(M.KH) charged with possession and trafficking of 94 kilos and 450 grams of Heroin in Bandar Abbas to Bandar Khamir route.(M.A) charged with possession and trafficking of 8 kilos of Heroin on Bandar Abbas to Bandar Khamir route.(A.H) charged with possession and trafficking of 30 kilos of compressed Heroin (Crack) on Bandar Abbas to Bandar Khamir route.

(M.B) was charged with possession and trafficking of 3 kilos and 750 grams of Heroin at Branch 3 of Bandar Abbas Islamic Revolutionary Court. (S.A) was charged with possession and trafficking of 100 kilos and 200 grams of Heroin at branch 1 of Bandar Abbas Islamic Revolutionary Court. (M.M) was charged with possession and armed trafficking of 487 kilos and 500 grams of Opium on Roudan city route. All of the above mentioned were hanged on Thursday early morning at Bandar Abbas Central Prison after the approval made by Attorney General.

In addition to the above, (M.H) who was charged with murder of (H.KH) by stabbing him in Bandar Abbas, was hanged in presence of the family of (M.KH) at early hours of Thursday.
