HRANA News Agency – Mehrdad Amin Vaziri, labour activist, was summoned to Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj. Also, Zaniar Baghian, another labour activist in this city has been arrested. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mehrdad Amin Vaziri, labour activist from Sanandaj city, was summoned to branch one of the Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj by a phone call. Also, following frequent request by family of Zaniar Baghban, Intelligence office in Sanandaj confirmed that this labour activist has been detained by them since 1st February. It should be mentioned that, Mehrdad Amin Vaziri, labour activist, was arrested formerly on Monday 29th December at his work place by Intelligence agents and after 10 days detention in their office in Sanandaj was released temporarily on 8th January on the bail of 50 million Tomans. He was in detention in Intelligence office of Sanandaj city for 32 days in 2011, and was released on the bail of 15 million Tomans. Mr Amin Vaziri was sentenced to 5 years suspended imprisonment by branch 1 of Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj, in September 2011. Also, Zaniar Baghban, other labour activist, from Sanandaj, has been arrested on his way to his work palce. His family went to security forces’ offices and eventually on Monday, Intelligence office in Sanandaj confirmed that he has been detained by the security forces. However, there is no information about the reason of arrest and his situation. |
